According to Jerry Bohnen of KTOK Radio News, an interview with Republican Cong. Frank Lucas on Monday morning had Lucas proposing former OK Governor Frank Keating as a replacement for Alberto Gonzales even before Gonzales went before radio microphones and TV cameras to announce his decision to resign today.
Former U. S. Attorney Robert McCampbell of the Western District joined Lucas in endorsing Keating for the job. Stay tuned!
