The September issue of Bon Appetit magazine, called the 'Restaurant Issue', features Joe Maranto of Meers, OK (Wichita Mountains north of Lawton) and his giant longhorn burger. On page 82 in a section called 'America's Top Restaurants' you can read about Joe and his burgers and get the location and phone number for the Meers Store and Restaurant.
AND.....you can also see Joe with his burger this Saturday night, August 18, as a finalist in a Food Network special called 'America's Best' airing at 9:00pm Saturday night and noon and 4:00pm on Sunday. Check your TV viewing area for local times and food channel.
